Senior People Analytics Analyst

About the Opportunity

A large hospital system in Texas is seeking a Senior Workforce Analytics Analyst to lead data-driven workforce initiatives, partnering closely with HR and business leaders to turn complex people data into clear, actionable insights. This role requires strong technical proficiency in analytics and reporting tools alongside the communication skill to translate findings for senior and executive audiences. The ideal candidate combines a rigorous analytical mindset with the polish to present confidently to A-C level leadership.

What You’ll Do

• Analyze workforce and HR data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities that inform strategic decision-making
• Design, build, and maintain HCM reports and dashboards to support ongoing workforce insights
• Apply statistical models, forecasting techniques, and workforce analytics methodologies to support planning and decision-making
• Translate complex data into meaningful, actionable information for stakeholders across all levels of the organization
• Present findings and recommendations to senior leaders, including A-C level executives, with clear and compelling storytelling
• Partner with HR and business stakeholders to understand data needs and deliver relevant, timely analytics
• Manage multiple analytics projects, balancing competing priorities and stakeholder expectations
• Apply critical thinking and problem-solving to address workforce challenges through data

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in a technical, quantitative, or business-focused field (Data Analytics, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or related)
• 5+ years of experience in data analysis, business analysis, or a related role
• Familiarity with HR/HCM data structures required
• 2+ years of hands-on experience with HCM report and dashboard design and development
• Strong ability to apply statistical models, forecasting techniques, and workforce analytics methodologies
• Advanced proficiency in Excel, SQL, and data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau)
• Excellent communication and storytelling skills, with a proven ability to translate data insights into actionable recommendations for senior leaders
• Strong analytical mindset with expertise in project management, stakeholder management, critical thinking, and problem-solving
• Comfort and confidence presenting to A-C level leaders
