Senior Epic Analyst – Pharmacy Applications

About the Opportunity

A large hospital system in Texas is seeking a Senior Epic Analyst to support their Pharmacy applications (Willow Ambulatory). This role partners closely with pharmacy, clinical, and IT stakeholders to build, maintain, and optimize Epic workflows, ensuring the system supports safe, efficient medication management across the organization.

What You’ll Do

• Serve as a senior analyst supporting Pharmacy Epic applications, including build, testing, and optimization
• Partner with pharmacy leadership and end users to gather requirements and translate clinical workflows into effective system design
• Troubleshoot and resolve application issues, escalating and coordinating with Epic or other IT teams as needed
• Participate in upgrades, new module rollouts, and ongoing system enhancements
• Ensure build decisions align with regulatory requirements, patient safety standards, and organizational policy
• Mentor junior analysts and contribute to team best practices and documentation

What We’re Looking For

• Epic Certification required (Willow Ambulatory preferred; other Epic certifications will be considered)
• Minimum 4 years of experience working directly with Healthcare Information Systems
• Some pharmacy experience (clinical, operational, or informatics background)
• Preferred Qualifications
• Strong preference for candidates with hands-on Epic build experience
• Willow Inpatient or Willow Ambulatory certification specifically
• Experience in a large, multi-facility health system environment
